Potentially Harmful Stimulant Found In Slimming Beauty Bitter Orange Slimming Capsules

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advised consumers to not use Slimming Beauty Bitter Orange Slimming Capsules. FDA warns that the product contain the active pharmaceutical ingredient sibutramine, a prescription-only drug which is a stimulant. Sibutramine is not listed on the product label and could harm consumers, especially those with cardiovascular conditions.
Solo-Slim Weight-Loss Supplement Recalled

The weight-loss supplement Solo Slim® has been recalling by EZVille, Ltd after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) detected an undeclared drug ingredient in the product. It was found to contain didesmethyl sibutramine, an FDA-approved drug for weight loss. However, Solo Slim® is not approved for sale as a drug, and the ingredient is not listed on the product’s label.
Sibutramine may increase blood pressure and heart rate. It is not recommended for patients with heart disease, kidney disorders, psychiatric illnesses or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
Slim-30 Weight-Loss Supplement Recalled

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has recalled the weight-loss supplement Slim-30™ after it was found to contain undeclared ingrediant N-desmethyl sibutramine and traces of sibutramine.
Sibutramine is an FDA-approved drug that is used as an appetite suppressant. It is the active ingredient in the drug Meridia® in the United States and Reductil® in Europe. However, the FDA has not approved Slim-30™ as a drug.
Sibutramine may increase blood pressure and heart rate. It is not recommended for patients with heart disease, kidney disorders, psychiatric illnesses or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
The FDA has recalled lot #032009. Consumers should return Slim-30™ to the retailer for a full refund.
Weight-Loss Aid Pai You Guo Recalled by the FDA

Pai You Guo, a weight-loss dietary supplement, has been recalled after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) found it to contain undeclared drug ingredients.
FDA lab tests of Pai You Guo samples found it to contain undeclared sibutramine, an FDA-approved drug used as an appetite suppressant; and phenolphthalein, a solution used in chemical experiments and a suspected cancer-causing agent that is not approved for marketing in the United States.
Pai You Guo has not been approved as a drug, and the safety and effectiveness of the product has not been studied. GMP Herbal Products, Inc. has issued a voluntarily recall of all Pai You Guo lots.
Sibutramine has been shown to increase blood pressure and heart rate and may be particularly harmful to people who have had strokes or those with coronary artery disease, irregular heartbeat or congestive heart failure.
